My name is Maartje (Allegonda) Ansems, artist and art teacher from the Netherlands. I studied Art and Art education at the Academie voor Beeldende Vorming in Tilburg, Netherlands and Photography at Hogeschool Sint Lukas in Brussels, Belgium.

For the past fifteen years, I have been working as an independant artist and photographer, both commissioned and self initiated. I am Assigned by several educational institutes, for which I develop educational material and teach photography classes to students.

Currently I work on personal art projects and initiate photography and art courses for artists, private and business customers to help them develop their own creative potential and to learn them more about the wonderful possibilities of their own photo camera.

Since 2022 I’m very concentrated on reinventing myself, by adding herbal and medical knowledge, the universal principles of electroculture and practical gardening skills to my palette. In the future I will intertwine all these new disciplines with my existing skills and experience into a new form. We will see what comes out!
